Niton Central Fundraising Society hosting family photo shoot

by Mikaela Kuefler

The Niton Central Fundraising Society raises
funds for school activities and items that aren't
covered by the government or aren't within the
budget.
“If there's something needed within our school
and they didn't have the funds for it, such as a
computer, new chairs in the staff room or student
lounge, or a field trip, they could come ask us to
help with it,” said President Tammy Ruggles.
The Society was previously called the Niton
School Playground Society for many years and
changed their name because, “We are the
community for the school,” said Ruggles.
The group consists of nine members. “We've
got a good group of women who are willing to
get out there and do something,” said Ruggles.
Currently, the Society is working raising money
for the school playground to fix the drainage
issue and for new equipment. They have just Members of the Niton Central Fundraising Society Tammy Ruggles, Miranda Morden, Stacy
