Annual Christmas Social at Pine Grove Hall

by Dawn Olsvik

The parking lot was full as more families
arrived for the Annual Christmas Social at the
Pine Grove Hall. The social was held on
December 3 and children of all ages enjoyed
visiting with Kris Kringle as well as free hay
wagon rides.
The Pine Grove Community Association
sponsored this annual event which is open to
everyone from the county as well as from town.
There was a small Christmas market featuring
local vendors for patrons to browse for unique
Christmas gifts. Cheerful volunteers manned the
concession where soup and sandwiches as well
as Christmas goodies were available. Raffle
tickets were also sold by the association.
Donna, one of the volunteers, said the
association is always look for more members.
Anyone wishing more information can contact Colleen Christensen, Linda Janish, and Marlene Miller shared their Christmas wishes with
the association on their social media page. Santa (KK) proving that children of all ages can enjoy the magic of Christmas. Santa was

said, “Sometimes I am cold but I
like the snow!” She is enjoying her
visit to Canada, even with the
