'Fun With Family and Neighbours Day' hosted at MacKay Community Hall

submitted

As part of our Abundantly Yellowhead
- MacKay project, on January 27 we
hosted a 'Fun With Family and
Neighbours Day' at MacKay
Community Hall which was a huge
success.
Approximately 65 adults and children
braved the weather to attend. Everyone
enjoyed free hot dogs, hot chocolate,
coffee, marshmallows and the sleigh
rides compliments of Tom Ophus with
Jody and Rory McLeod also handling
one of Tom's teams.
While the fire pit was being stoked
and fed with Stanley and Lloyd

Adults and children cooked hot dogs
over the fire, drank hot chocolate, and
enjoyed the company of meeting new
and old neighbours. When the sleighs
arrived around 1:00 pm everyone was
excited.
Thank you for all who attended and
let's hope that the weather will
cooperate next year and be a bit warmer.
