New Rosevear Bridge gets its footing

Yellowhead County's new bridge that will replace the Rosevear Ferry is beginning to
take shape. Drilling for the pilings that will hold up Yellowhead County's new Rosevear
Bridge is now underway.
With the McLeod River completely frozen over and solid enough to support heavy
equipment, Trevcon Enterprises out of Calgary has brought in their massive drill and
machinery that cuts through the ice, river bottom, and bedrock and pounds the steel
support structures into the ground.
The construction process that is being managed by Stantec and overseen by the County
