Students that had gone to Nepal earlier
this year from Parkland High School
thought it would be a good idea to have
a BBQ to help raise money for relief
efforts from the Nepalearthquake.
Alexis Yardley, Kaitelyn Aschenmeier,
and Garret Robinson were looking after
the BBQ at Wal-Mart on June 6. The
students said Nicole Trainer, who
organized the fundraiser, had a BBQ
happening at Coubrough Independent
Grocer and that
there was one happening at Sobeys as
well that day.
