During the regular Tuesday council meeting, held
on June 16, town council voted to sever their
agreement with the Lion's Club regarding the Lion's
campground on the east end of Edson.
Several Lion's Club members were present and
voiced objections and concerns that the club had not
been notified of town concerns and had only learned
of the intent to sever the agreement in a letter dated
June 10.
