annual Father's Day go Kit Derby took place on or drop off at 5040 3rd
Sunday, June 21. Avenue, Edson.
This year organizer Gean Chouinard encouraged
fathers and grandfathers to race their children and
grandchildren. “We had a lot more father-child
challenges,” said Chouinard.
While the numbers were down from previous
years Chouinard said it was likely due to the other
events that were happening in town.
The weekend not only boasted beautiful weather
but also included the Rotary Sundays in the Park
kick off and soccer games.
Chouinard said, “I'd like to thank all the
volunteers and sponsors. We're looking forward
to next year.
