Hillendale Phase II Park Playground and Landscaping
The Town of Edson is inviting proposals for the building of
Hillendale Phase II Park. The park space is located in the
residential subdivision of Hillendale Phase II in Edson. The park
currently has all of the concrete work completed. This RFP is
geared towards the installation of the required playground
equipment as well as basic landscaping of the park space.

Spring Clean Up


Town crews will begin picking up your unwanted items the first week
following the May long weekend (May 23, 2017), starting from the west
end of Edson and working their way east. Please make sure your items
are out there as the crews will not return once they’ve gone past your
area.
Crews WILL PICK UP items such as old boards, old fences,
renovation materials, old furniture, mattresses, broken toys, etc.
Crews WILL NOT PICK UP the following items: regular household
garbage or household appliances such as stoves, TOWN OF EDSON
washers, dryers, refrigerators or any white metal. 2017 Combined Assessment
Crews WILL NOT PICK UP electronics, grass
clippings, branches or cardboard. You are asked to & Tax Notices
bring your electronics, grass clippings and cardboard
to the Recycle Depot. All branches may be brought
to the Landfill at no charge. 2017 Combined Assessment and Tax Notices were mailed

If you are a property owner within the Town of Edson and do
not receive your Notice, please contact the Town Office at 780-
723-4401.

Payment may be made in person, at the Town Office, by
mail, through online banking, or left in the night depository
unit located next to the front door of the Town Office.


The Town of Edson does not accept credit cards.

Payments are due by June 30, 2017.


Town office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

Any person who deems to be affected by the issuance of any one of these permits may appeal to the Subdivision and Development Authority by 4:00

p.m., on the 14 day after the date of issue. On Permitted Uses, grounds for appeal must relate only to interpretation, variance, or relaxation of the
Land Use Bylaw. On Discretionary Uses, all aspects of the proposed development may be challenged upon appeal. Written notice of appeal,
accompanied by the appeal fee as established by Town Council, shall be filed through the Office of the Secretary of the Subdivision and Development
Appeal Board at Box 6300, Edson, AB T7E 1T7.
