NOTICE OF PROPOSED BYLAW 2207


An Area Structure Plan for a portion of 63rd Street between 8th and 11th
Avenues was recently adopted. Through the administration of this Area Structure
Plan, the developer intends to layout the lot and road locations, as well as address
plans for drainage and utility services. No rezoning is required. The areas
consisting of Single Family Residential (R-1C in green ) and Multi Family Residen-
tial (R-2 shown below in red) are already zoned for this purpose, with the
exception of the area highlight-ed in yellow.




Proposed Bylaw No. 2207 proposes to close a portion of road
way to accommodate adoption of the Area Structure Plan. The por-tion of
roadway to be closed is out-lined in dark blue below.


DEADLINE FOR FEEDBACK—Any time before or during the Public Hearing on
Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 7:30 P.M. These bylaws can be viewed in their
entirety on our website www.edson.ca or at the Civic Centre. If you have any

NOTICE OF DEVELOPMENT


Notice is hereby given that the Development Authority has authorized the issuance of the following Development Permits in
accordance with the Town of Edson Land Use Bylaw #2070 as amended:

Any person who deems to be affected by the issuance of any one of these permits may appeal to the Subdivision and Development

Authority by 4:00 p.m., on the 14 day after the date of issue. On Permitted Uses, grounds for appeal must relate only to
interpretation, variance, or relaxation of the Land Use Bylaw. On Discretionary Uses, all aspects of the proposed development may be
challenged upon appeal. Written notice of appeal, accompanied by the appeal fee as established by Town Council, shall be filed through
the Office of the Secretary of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board at Box 6300, Edson, AB T7E 1T7.
