Pine Grove

Walk-A-Thon

has long history

by Deanna Mitchener

The annual Pine Grove Middle School Walk-
A-Thon took place on September 29 this year
and it actually has a long history behind it.
The event has taken place for over 25 years
and began at the Jubilee Junior High School and
then moved to Pine Grove. Over the years the
length and route has varied and at one time it
was a Bike-A-Thon. Over the last few years it
has consisted of a round trip route to and from
Trail Hall beginning and ending at the bypass
road.

School, says, "Right from the beginning the Two bus loads of students and teachers from Pine Grove Middle School on September 29
