Pledges pou r in for Seniors Walkathon

Parkland Lodge held their 45th Annual
Seniors Walkathon for seniors on September
23.
The idea behind this Walkathon is to show
support for seniors in the community and to
raise some needed funds to help with the
quality of life of the seniors at Parkland
Lodge.
You could walk, run, or even bike if you'd
like. This year a much larger crowd came out
in support of the event than in recent years.
Ivan Strang with Parkland Lodge Auxiliary Residents from Edson and Yellowhead County were out in support of the 45th Annual Seniors
said, "The Auxiliary was overwhelmed with Walkathon that took place at Parkland Lodge on September 23. Supporters of the event
the response we had for the Seniors Walkathon collected pledges to walk, with all money going towards the seniors at Parkland Lodge through
this year and the amount of money that was the Auxiliary. The Auxiliary would like to extend an invitation to join their committee as they are
